Vision To Move Forward

Updated: Oct 25, 2018

Perception is everything. How we see and interpret every situation, what we believe as truth and our reality, will determine our every move. Do you have a vision of your future that is beyond your current circumstance?

A woman expecting a child knows the standard nine months of pregnancy leads to birthing a new life. With that in mind, while carrying she will make changes that accommodate the arrival of her newborn. It is very likely that a room will already be built and decked-out with furnishings that suit the infant’s instinctual needs. Some moms have even been known to begin a college fund before the child is born. We will always prepare for what we anticipate and what we see coming towards us in the future.

I firmly believe that when we are put in a position to wait and be patient, it is because God is birthing something in us and from us. From prophecy conceived to prophecy fulfilled, you are being prepared to give birth to a God-ordained vision. You are feeding something, carrying and strengthening a call, and incubating a purpose, in order to give it life one day.

Every principal character in scripture that carried and gave birth to a promise from God, was only able to survive and endure the process by keeping the vision fresh and their face forward. The Lord knows we will always move towards what we see, so we are expected to fix our eyes on a future hope. It was the only way our forefathers waited decades to give birth to what seemed impossible at the time of conception.

What is your perception? Your perception will be the force that moves you forward. Do you have a divine vision settled in your heart, that causes you to face forward no matter how uncomfortable it gets or how strong the adversity? In this journey you'll need it!!!

"When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray…" (Proverbs 29:18 TPT)
